Ciao, bambini. Welcome back to typing class. Today is stage two of level one. Your teacher here is Miss Octopus. You are in the role of fishes in this lesson!
First of all, you are going to review the knowledge you have learnt in stage one. Attention: there is a little change at the bottom of the flash – you are right, the disks change into shells. So every time you correctly type the letters at the top of the screen, one shell will be opened. Here we go! Once you finished the first round, you will hear “what a great start” from the background voice with a slight Indian accent. Hope you enjoy it! After opening the two shells of the warm up, let’s get into today’s task!
“E” and “I” will be the first two letters you will learn. Use the middle finger of your left hand to type on “E” and your right middle finger to type on “I.” Super easy, isn’t it?
Well, with your left hand first, open all four shells. A new character will come out – a blue octopus – guess who he is? After opening the first shell of the right hand, you will know it! From there, turn to the right and break the other four. Now, you know that the Mr. Octopus in blue is a CANTATO (singer)! You like his voice? You may notice when opening the last two shells of the right hand side that you actually type with using two hands, so don’t be afraid, you can do it!
After you finishing all of the tasks, a beautiful Italian song is played automatically. Enjoy the song even if you don’t understand it; the rhythm itself is beautiful! You can also try to learn to pronounce the words by vibrating your tongue.
Fishes – have fun! See you in the next stage!
